I cannot wait to see Clarie McCarthy's upcoming film, The Waiting City.  The trailor looks phenom, so good to see an Aussie film with a great and meaningful storyline.  The film is the first Australian film to be entirely shot in India, and stars Radha Mitchell, Joel Edgerton and Isabel Lucas (my #1 girl crush!).

'The Waiting City tells the story of an outwardly happy Australian couple who journey to India to collect their adopted baby.  When they arrive in Kolkata they discover that the adoption arrangements have still be finalised.  Soon the intoxicating mystic power of the city pulls them in seperate and unexpected directions and the vulnerability of their marriage begins to reveal itself.  This is an intimate, complex love story of transformation, set against the exhilerating epic backdrop of Kolkata.'

The Waiting City will be screening in Australian Cinemas from 15th July. 

Check out the trailor, doesn't it look beautiful?  I bet the colours in the film are just amazing.  Makes me want to jet off to India right now...
