knock knock, who's there.

I remember back when I was in Primary School, our Mandarin teacher told us the story of a town in ancient China who had a problem.  Every year, a dragon would visit the town and eat all of the children.  So the town came up with an idea.  Each house painted their front door red to scare the dragon off and keep their children safe.  And it worked.

I told my mum this story after school and the following day I came home to find our own front door painted bright fire engine red.  Thus, my love for coloured doors began.
