everything is a-ok.
After a pretty shit week, I am trying to tell myself that "everything is ok". Let's just say I may have had a 'Carrie' moment and am waiting on the verdict from my computer doctor.. Cross your fingers and toes for me please! If the news is bad, well, there goes 6 years of design work. And possibly a change of career too. Hello retail. Oh well, I guess I have learnt a very valuable lesson. Wah.
Anyway, hope you all have safe, ridiculously fun and drunk weekends! Here's to a better week next week!

PS - back up your work people (AT LEAST 3 times!!), learn from my mistake!

ysl s/s 2011 campaign video.
Wow I have not blogged for ages - been totally slack, sorry about that.
Promise I'll be better. For now I will leave you with YSL's new S/S 2011 Campaign video. It. Is. Gorgeous. The lighting, the music (‘Mushrooms & Roses‘ by Janelle Monáe), the varying motion speed - that fur coat with the cut-out in the back - I love it all! Plus, Arazona is a total babe. Enjoy.

bulgari x kirstin dunst
Not nessacarily a Dunst fan, but loving the new shots for Bulgari. Also loving the kaleidoscopic video for Matthew Williamson's collab with the iconic jewelry label.

my confession.
Ok... I have a confession. I heart Lara Bingle. Always have, always will. I don't care what you say. Always a sucker for the blonde 'beach-chick', I generally dig her style. She always looks on trend and polished, and those teeth! That tan! I saw her walking down Chapel Street a few months ago and just couldn't help but look twice, even before I realized it was her. Maybe speeding up and parking the car so I could watch her walking up the street for longer was a bit of stalker-overkill. BUT anyway, I'm loving her editorial in this month's Oyster mag - check her out!

clutch this.
As previously promised, let me introduce to you to my bestie.
Kate Lancaster is not only a very dear friend to me, but she also happens to be one talented chick. Completing her final year in Fashion at RMIT in Melbourne this year, Kate was recently chosen to be the lucky first intern of Alice Euphemia's new mentoring program. The result is a capsule collection of leather clutches available in two sizes with detachable faux-fur tails, in store now.
Now, I'm sure you're all more than familiar with Alice Euphemia's cute blog and store in Melbourne, stocking some of the finest Australian fashion and jewelry available. And if you're not... Well you should be! A little birdy has told me that Alice will have a new online store up and running in the not-too-distant-future... But for now - make sure you pop into Alice Euphemia (shop 6 Cathedral Arcade, Melbourne) or call 03 9650 4300 to reserve yours!
This is such an accolade for a young designer who hasn't even graduated yet. You can read Kate's interview with Alice Euphemia here. Oh, and make sure you check out Kate's blog, you definitely need to put it on your daily read list!
Watch this space because this girl is going to achieve big things!
