Right now I am packing my bags in preparation for my trip to Italy tomorrow. I am so excited about the scenery, people, language - and of course the FOOD! I have been watching Under The Tuscan Sun and Eat Pray Love to prepare myself for the beautiful country that I am about to explore. I can't wait to post lots of pics of what I see, but until then...
Alla prossima!

to try.
Although Summer is sadly coming to an end here in London Town, I want to stock my new freezer with these bad boys - they look delish! Via Because I'm Addicted.

Orange & Blueberry Pops
You will need:
1/2 cup milk (any milk will do. i like almond, vanilla soy or low fat but if you want a creamier pop go for cream.)
1 1/4 cups fresh squeezed orange juice
1/4 cup blueberries
Mix ingredients and pour into popsicle molds. Freeze for 5+ hours or until firm. Enjoy!

riots.
We've all heard about the recent riots in London. A sad and very scary time for all those near the affected areas. As an Australian who grew up in a generally peaceful community, I have never quite witnessed what I have over the past week in England. Obviously a lot of people need to get their heads screwed on right - it is scary how many angry, misguided youths there are in this city. But I really do hope that some positive can arise out of this terrible time and more focus can be put on the youth - because, quite obviously, there is a pretty big problem out there.

oreo olallieberry chocolate layer cake.
I love picking a cake every birthday for my mum to try and master on my special day. Provided I'm still in London next April, I guess I will have to find someone else to make me a cake... Wahh! BUT when I do find a replacement Masterchef - I know exactly which cake to choose. Introducing the Oreo Olallieberry Chocolate Layer Cake (recipe here).
Here's what it is... "A fluffy black chocolate cake layered with cocoa-olallieberry Italian meringue buttercream, studded with oreo cookie chunks, and covered in drippy dark chocolate ganache... Oh, and gold flecks on top just for a bit of diva power..."
Um. YUM!

guido mocafico.
Ok so I am a little scared of snakes. Well, petrified would probably be a more accurate term to use. But these images by Guido Mocafico are just so beautiful and mesmerizing, don't you think?

i could do this.
Recently something very sad has happened. Amidst my travels, it seems my beloved leather jewellery roll has gone (gasp!) MISSING. Although I am sad to say goodbye to some very sentimental jewellery that can never be replaced, I am happy in the knowledge that there is some rad jewellery around. Such as this bad boy.

louis, honey.
First designers plastered their names to bottles of H20, and now it seems Louis Vuitton has taken it a step further! The legendary fashion house installed three of their very own hives on it's Champs Elysées headquarters rooftop some two years ago and has just harvested the first batch of what they’re calling Belle Jardinière. Just quietly, I'm finding the packaging quite beautiful.
